Job Title: Kitchen Meal Prep Volunteer

Reports To: Food Service Manager

GENERAL PURPOSE

Helps the Director of Food Service and the kitchen team with all facets of daily operations including food prep, serving and cleaning.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Helps to prep food for cooking and serving
• Serves on the food assembly line placing meals into containers for serving
• Assists in preparing snacks for our pre-school, after-school and summer programs
• Assists in cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
• Assists with loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Assists with laundry and folding towels for kitchen use
• Must be willing to adhere to all kitchen safety and health department standards

LOCATION AND OPERATING HOURS

• The kitchen is located at 190 S. Maple St.in Akron, OH.
• We are open Monday - Friday from 9 AM - 12:30 PM.
