THURSDAY PHONE CALLS FOR HOSPICE

Capital City Hospice is seeking volunteers to make weekly phone calls each Thursday.

Each week, home patients are contacted to ensure that they have all necessary supplies and medications for the weekend. With a script/check list, volunteers call these patients to 'check in' and to be sure all needs are met before the weekend. Calls can be made from home or our office.

Many patients look forward to these calls...from a friend!

Ten volunteers are needed to call the approximately 100 patients who are on the "Tuck-in Call" list. The calls are brief and to the point, helping the clinical team know what each patient may need for the weekend.

Volunteers must attend an orientation (scheduled each month at our office), have TB & drug screenings as well as fingerprinting (at Capital City's expense). Call (614-441-9300)or email (cch-vc@addus.com) for more information or to register for an upcoming orientation.
