Descrição
Aquaculture volunteers assist Aquarium staff with propagating, rearing and caring for the exhibit's corals, fishes and invertebrates.
Requirements:
- Minimum age 16 years old.
- Minimum commitment of 2 hours per week for 2 months.
- Compassion for living organisms.
- Detail oriented and have good observational and record keeping skills.
- Exhibit good manual dexterity; ability to use tweezers and a power drill.
- Ability to climb stairs and to stand for extended periods.
- Be tolerant of extended exposure to saltwater.
- No shellfish allergy
- pass a background check, which includes being fingerprinted at no cost.
