Description
Aquaculture volunteers assist Aquarium staff with propagating, rearing and caring for the exhibit's corals, fishes and invertebrates.
Requirements:
Minimum age 16 years old.
Minimum commitment of 2 hours per week for 2 months.
Compassion for living organisms.
Detail oriented and have good observational and record keeping skills.
Exhibit good manual dexterity; ability to use tweezers and a power drill.
Ability to climb stairs and to stand for extended periods.
Be tolerant of extended exposure to saltwater.
No shellfish allergy
pass a background check, which includes being fingerprinted at no cost.
