    Description

    Aquaculture volunteers assist Aquarium staff with propagating, rearing and caring for the exhibit's corals, fishes and invertebrates.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum age 16 years old.
    • Minimum commitment of 2 hours per week for 2 months.
    • Compassion for living organisms.
    • Detail oriented and have good observational and record keeping skills.
    • Exhibit good manual dexterity; ability to use tweezers and a power drill.
    • Ability to climb stairs and to stand for extended periods.
    • Be tolerant of extended exposure to saltwater.
    • No shellfish allergy
    • pass a background check, which includes being fingerprinted at no cost.
