Are you interested in making a real difference in someone's life? Do you have that special sensitivity to the needs of terminally ill individuals?

There is no more meaningful way to touch a life than to serve as a hospice volunteer.

Give a terminally ill patient- and their family- the greatest gift you can give. Hospice volunteers bring caring, comfort, and compassion into the lives of those who need it most.

Hospice volunteering is rewarding and very flexible. We work with your availabilty- all we ask for is a few hours of your time a month.

Volunteers are needed in the following areas to ensure our patients and families have the best hospice journey they can experience:

Providing Visits/Companionship

In this role, volunteers will spend time directly with patients in order to provide them with comfort and friendship. The volunteer can serve as a shoulder to cry on, a friend to laugh with, or a buddy to play cards with.

Providing Complimentary Therapy

Do you have a certified therapy animal? A valid reiki certification? Are you a licensed massage therapist? Our patients would benefit immensely from complimentary therapy.

General Office Support

For those who would prefer behind the scenes volunteer work, we are always in need of extra assistance in our Norwood and Sandwich offices.
