As we expand our impact, we are building a strong fundraising team to secure sustainable resources and grow strategic partnerships with the private sector.
We are seeking a Corporate Fundraising Officer to lead, develop, and manage partnerships with companies, CSR programs, foundations, and corporate donors who align with Saidika’s mission. This role follows professional fundraising standards for corporate partnerships structure and offers an opportunity to shape a high-impact, values-driven fundraising department.
Key Responsibilities
- Corporate Fundraising Strategy & Pipeline Development
- Develop and execute a corporate fundraising strategy with clear income targets.
- Identify, research, and prioritize potential corporate partners aligned with Saidika's mission.
- Build a strong pipeline of companies, foundations, and CSR initiatives.
- Donor Engagement & Relationship Management
- Initiate outreach and build long-term relationships with corporate prospects.
- Manage and grow existing corporate partnerships through regular communication, stewardship, and reporting.
- Coordinate corporate visits, donor events, and engagement activities.
- Proposal Writing & Reporting
- Lead the development of high-quality concept notes, proposals, pitches, and presentations.
- Work closely with program teams to ensure proposals reflect real community needs and measurable impact.
- Prepare timely donor reports, impact stories, and accountability updates.
- Partnership Development & Negotiation
- Negotiate partnership agreements and sponsorship packages.
- Support co-creation of CSR campaigns, cause-marketing activities, and corporate employee engagement.
- Monitoring, Compliance & Documentation
- Track fundraising KPIs, maintain updated CRM/database records, and produce regular management reports.
- Conduct due diligence to ensure ethical alignment and compliance with Saidika policies.
- Support coordination with finance teams to ensure proper grant management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with communications to develop fundraising materials, visibility content, and donor-friendly messaging.
- Collaborate with programs to align corporate support with implementation priorities.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Development Studies, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in fundraising, corporate partnerships, donor relations, business development, or CSR engagement.
- Proven ability to secure funding or manage strategic corporate relationships.
- Strong proposal writing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred
- Experience working in the nonprofit sector.
- Knowledge of CSR trends in Kenya , East Africa and across the Europe
- Familiarity with donor compliance, proposal budgeting, and reporting.
- Existing network within the corporate or philanthropic community.

Compensation
Saidika Organization is in a growth and transition phase. At this stage, we are not yet able to offer a fixed monthly salary. Instead, compensation for this role will follow a performance-based model, designed to reward initiative, innovation, and successful fundraising outcomes.

- Project-based payments or consultancy fees available for donor-funded assignments.
- Clear, pre-agreed percentages and incentives for each funded proposal or corporate partnership closed.
