About One More Moment
One More Moment is a Michigan-based nonprofit granting meaningful wishes to late-stage cancer warriors and their families. Our mission is to help families create “One More Moment” together when time is limited — giving them memories that last long after a loved one’s passing.
Our work depends on being visible to the families who need us most. One of the most powerful tools we have is our Google Ad Grants account, which offers up to $10,000/month in free Google Ads credit for nonprofits. However, our account has not been actively managed in several years — and we’re looking for a skilled volunteer to help us bring it back to life.
Volunteer Role: Google Ad Grants Manager
We are seeking a knowledgeable volunteer to help us update, optimize, and manage our Google Ad Grants account in order to reach more Michigan families, volunteers, and donors.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Reviewing and reactivating (if needed) our Google Ad Grants account
- Ensuring the account meets all Google Ad Grants compliance requirements
- CTR minimum
- Keyword/structure rules
- Geo-targeting
- Conversion tracking
- Performing a full account audit (keywords, campaigns, ads, assets)
- Designing and launching new campaigns focused on:
- Families searching for wish-granting support in Michigan
- Donors wanting to support cancer patients
- Volunteer recruitment
- Awareness of our mission
- Setting up conversion tracking (form submissions, calls, donations)
- Monthly or bi-monthly maintenance
- Providing simple reports or recommendations
- Advising us on best practices for ongoing visibility
Who We Are Looking For:
You do not need to be a full-time marketing pro — but we do need someone with experience specific to Google Ad Grants, which has its own unique rules and optimization requirements.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Experience managing Google Ad Grants for nonprofits
- Familiarity with Google Ads campaign structure, keywords, match types, and optimization
- Understanding of the Google Ad Grants policies
- Ability to set up conversions and measure results
- SEO or nonprofit marketing experience (bonus but not required)
- Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate
- Passion for helping families facing late-stage cancer (the heart behind our mission)
Time Commitment
Flexible — we estimate:
- Initial setup + rebuild: 3–10 hours
- Ongoing monthly oversight: 2–4 hours/month
We’re grateful for any time you can give.
What You’ll Gain
By volunteering with us, you’ll directly help Michigan families connect with our services at one of the most vulnerable moments in their lives. You’ll also gain:
- Real-world experience managing a full Google Ad Grants account
- Portfolio-building achievements with measurable impact
- A letter of recommendation or volunteer certificate (if desired)
- Recognition on our website as a key volunteer
- Flexible, remote-friendly volunteering
