Setting: Adult Foster Home
Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to brighten someone's day through friendship and conversation? We are seeking a volunteer to spend time with an older adult who enjoys sharing stories from his life and connecting with others.
Volunteer Activities May Include:
- Friendly visits and conversation
- Listening to stories about military service and life experiences
- Discussing camping, travel, and outdoor adventures
- Sharing simple activities and social time
- Providing companionship and reducing social isolation
Volunteer Qualifications:
- Patient, compassionate, and dependable
- Comfortable interacting with older adults
- Able to adapt to changing energy levels and communication needs
