Gentiva Hospice is looking for caring and compassionate individuals to join our team as Hospice Volunteers.
Volunteers play a vital role by providing companionship, emotional support, and a comforting presence to patient and families during their end-of-life journey.
We offer unique Volunteer roles including:
- Tuck-In Volunteers: Weekly check-in calls to ensure patients have everything they need before the weekend.
- Administrative Support: Assisting staff with office tasks and projects.
- Direct Care Volunteers: Spend time with patients--reading, listening, sitting quietly, or just being present. Providing emotional support, companionship, and relief for caregivers.
