Are you looking to further your education in Music Therapy through meaningful, hands-on experience? AccentCare Hospice of Hernando and Pasco County is proud to offer a Music Therapy Internship designed to support both student learning and patient-centered care.
This internship provides students the opportunity to work directly with hospice patients, using music therapy to enhance quality of life and emotional well-being. Interns will gain real-world clinical experience under the direct supervision of experienced music therapy professionals.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Open to Bachelor’s and Master’s level students
- Must be enrolled in a Music Therapy program accredited by the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA)

AccentCare provides direct care to patients throughout Hernando & Pasco County! Interns will be assigned a caseload within a selected range during discussion with their field supervisor. Patient visits will be conducted in home settings as well as facilities.

You will be requested to provide a copy of your updated resume as well as details of your internship including dates, hours, and references. All prospective interns will be scheduled through an interview process to provide details of the internship and expectations.
AccentCare interns are expected to provide their own transportation and will be provided mileage reimbursement from AccentCare for distance traveled between patient visits. AccentCare interns will be supervised directly by a Music Therapist as well as our Volunteer Coordinator.
AccentCare internships are considered a voluntary position.
