Foster Coordinator

The Foster Coordinator is responsible for developing the program and coordinating the full range of duties related to running a foster program. This position works closely with our Animal Care team, Medical Team and Community Outreach as well as our Volunteer Team as we work to improve and expand our foster outreach and opportunities.

Doxie Rescue of Bucks County & NJ [DRBC] is a volunteer-powered, foster based 501[c][3] that has saved more than 20,000 homeless and abandoned animals since its founding. The organization is a regional rescue covering NY, NJ, PA, DE and MD. DRBC rescues dachshunds, dachshund mixes and dogs dubbed as doxie wanna-be’s [dogs under 25 pounds].

The Foster Coordinator is essential to our lifesaving work, as every animal we save spends time in a foster home. This position plays a key role in keeping us organized, getting our message out, raising our visibility, attracting volunteers and more.
