Descrição
Got a green thumb? Or like spending time in the yard?
Simple yard work can be a huge task for older adults. The Yard Work Help for Seniors program helps alleviate some of this burden and helps keep residents safe. Our Volunteers assist residents with yard work on a one time or consistent basis.
Tasks may include:
- Planting flowers
- Light weeding
- Raking leaves
- Trimming small bushes
- Picking up & bundling of small branches
- Mowing (resident to provide lawn mower at residence)
Whether you are a group looking for a single day project, or you are an individual able to commit to yard help as needed, we will do our best to match you with the right project to help a resident in need.
Yard Work Help for Seniors is a summer volunteer opportunity only. Volunteers will be matched with a resident within a 2 mile radius of their home. Volunteers may extended their service area.
