At Providence Hospice, you and a friend can volunteer side by side, visiting patients who could use conversation, laughter, and connection.
Because sometimes… two friendly faces are even better than one.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS
To ensure the safety of our patients, volunteers will complete:
Application & Documentation:
• Volunteer application (includes Social Security Number for Kansas adult abuse background check)
• Copy of driver’s license
• Proof of auto insurance (your name must be listed on the policy)
- Health & Safety:
- Drug test & 2-step TB test (done at office)
Training & Support:
• Complete onboarding and volunteer training
• Shadow with experienced volunteers before visiting independently
• Ongoing training and weekly volunteer meetings available
