Software developer (AI for Good)

Key Responsibilities include:

Backend & Full-Stack Development

• • Contribute to the development of KAIA’s backend and database infrastructure, including:
  • Designing and optimizing Supabase schemas, policies, functions, and triggers
  • Implementing secure authentication, role management, and access-control logic
  • Integrating backend workflows with Lovable’s no-code/low-code layers and custom components
  • Build and maintain RESTful / RPC endpoints and serverless functions in Supabase.

Platform Engineering & Integrations

• • Support platform connection to external services, including:
  • Email delivery pipelines using Mandrill/Mailchimp Transactional
  • GitHub/Supabase deployment pipelines
  • Data ingestion, transformation, and automated processing workflows
  • Troubleshoot staging and production issues, working with engineering contractors when needed.

Front-End & UI/UX Support

• • Implement front-end components (inside Lovable or custom-coded) that interface with Supabase.
  • Work with user flows and prototypes to refine the experience for onboarding, search, and matchmaking.

Testing, Debugging, and Documentation

• • Conduct QA testing, debug issues in staging environments, and propose improvements to code and architecture.
  • Maintain clear documentation of backend logic, data structures, and engineering decisions.

Research & Technical Exploration

• • Explore technical options or best practices for:
  • Secure data handling
  • Ethical AI system design
  • Responsible deployment and analytics
  • Provide technical input on the feasibility of new platform features.
