Volunteer UI/UX Designer

Delta Rising Foundation accelerates science-based systemic solutions as we evolve the art of sustainable culture. We are seeking a creative and user-centered Volunteer UI/UX Designer to help us build intuitive, impactful digital experiences that align with client needs and our organizational mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications that are both functional and visually engaging.
• Ensure designs support usability, accessibility, and user-centered best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, product leads, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Iterate on designs based on team and user feedback.
• Maintain design consistency and alignment with organizational goals across projects.

Requirements:

• Experience in UI/UX design for digital platforms.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design.
• Ability to communicate design rationale and collaborate effectively in a remote team.
• Portfolio showcasing relevant design work.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or developer handoff tools.
• Experience designing for social impact, nonprofit, or sustainability-focused projects.
• Comfort with agile design processes and cross-functional collaboration.
