As an inventory coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that Assist M.E. has all the necessary equipment to operate efficiently. This efficiency is a significant factor in our ability to reach individuals in need. Your responsibilities will be aligned with established policies and standards. Responsibilities:
- Meeting Supply Chain Operations Objectives:
- Collaborate with supply chain operations teams to meet inventory-related goals.
- Ensure availability of stock and supplies.
- Managing Inventory and Filing Systems:
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
- Organize and manage inventory database.
- Supervise remotely Complete Inventory Checks:
- Coordinate thorough inventory audits at least twice a year.
- Verify stock quantities and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensuring Documentation Accuracy:
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation related to inventory flows.
- File records appropriately.
- Addressing Gaps in Inventory Processes:
- Identify any gaps or inefficiencies in inventory management.
- Propose solutions to Supply Chain Operations team to enhance efficiency.
- Reporting to Management:
- Provide regular monthly and quarterly reports on inventory status at quantity and valuation levels
- Communicate any issues or concerns to Supply Chain Operations team management.
Requirements:
- Education:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. (General Educational Development).
- An associate’s degree is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Experience:
- Customer service experience is valuable.
- Familiarity with inventory management principles.
- Proficiency in Google database and Google Sheets, including formula management and manipulation.
- Comfortable working with basic inventory management software
