    Descrição

Video Production & YouTube Strategy Team

The Animal Cause, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Christian animal-welfare nonprofit dedicated to saving vulnerable animals and advancing practical solutions to the problems affecting animal welfare.

Our work includes animal rescue, transport, animal visibility, fundraising, volunteer development, partnerships, advocacy, education, and programs designed to address both immediate animal needs and the larger systems affecting animals in shelters and communities.

We are building an interconnected organization in which people, programs, technology, storytelling, and partnerships work together to save lives and strengthen animal welfare.

The Animal Cause, Inc. is volunteer-based and funded through donations and fundraising. We believe the work we do is ultimately service to God through service to His creation.

“Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31

Organization: The Animal Cause, Inc. (TAC)

    Position Type: Volunteer Role

    Location: Remote (U.S. Only)

Time Commitment: Approximately 5–10 hours per week (flexible)

Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old, a U.S. citizen, and a U.S. resident

    Position Overview

The Video Production & YouTube Strategy Team helps The Animal Cause, Inc. develop a consistent, credible, and mission-aligned video presence that accurately documents our work and provides clear pathways for viewer participation.

This is an operational and strategic role focused on building a repeatable video production and distribution pipeline—from media intake and content planning through video editing, publishing, audience engagement, analytics, and workflow optimization.

Content focuses on factual documentation, including rescue and transport operations, animal adoption profiles, fundraising campaigns, Mercy Stage media packages, The Shepherd's Ark updates, volunteer recruitment, animal-welfare education, verified outcome tracking, and behind-the-scenes operational features.

The team collaborates with Marketing Strategy & Campaigns, Website Administration & Digital Operations, Technology & AI, and program leads. The objective is to use clear, factual video content to build credibility, expand search reach, connect supporters with action steps, and strengthen organizational capability.

    What You May Help Build

Depending on skills and availability, team members contribute to:

    • YouTube channel architecture, playlist organization, and channel management
    • Long-form video strategy and structured YouTube Shorts production
    • Animal adoption profiles and visibility features
    • Rescue and transport operation documentation
    • Fundraising campaign videos and promotional media packages
    • Mercy Stage video production and educational content
    • Volunteer recruitment and onboarding video assets
    • Organizational history and operational documentation
    • Cross-platform video repurposing for web and social media channels
    • AI-assisted video editing and asset processing adhering to strict identity-preservation standards
    • Custom thumbnails and visual packaging
    • Video SEO, titles, descriptions, tags, and metadata optimization
    • Audience analytics, conversion tracking, and performance reporting
    • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for multi-volunteer editing workflows

    Immediate Priorities

The initial focus is establishing the foundation for a sustainable, multi-volunteer video program:

    1. Audit the existing YouTube channel, published videos, and performance analytics.
    2. Reorganize channel structure, custom playlists, and "About" section copy.
    3. Inventory existing raw footage and photographs to identify material that can be repurposed into structured short-form reels and long-form video updates.
    4. Establish a standardized video publishing checklist and upload quality-control workflow.
    5. Define structural parameters for YouTube Shorts versus long-form educational/operational documentation.
    6. Document a manageable publishing workflow that can scale across multiple video editors and production volunteers.

    Screening Questions

    1. What video editing, YouTube channel management, digital marketing, or media production experience do you bring to this team?
    2. Which technical areas are your strongest: video editing, content strategy, YouTube management, Shorts production, thumbnail design, channel analytics, AI-assisted video tools, or video SEO?
    3. Please provide links or examples of video or digital media projects you have edited or managed.
    4. How would you assemble raw photographs and short video clips into a structured, engaging video reel rather than a simple slideshow?
    5. How would you approach using AI video tools in nonprofit production while maintaining absolute factual accuracy, physical identity preservation, and public trust?
    6. Describe a time you managed a media project independently with minimal direction or pre-existing templates.
    7. What specific metrics would you track to determine whether a video successfully drove meaningful action (e.g., adoptions, donations, volunteer applications)?
    8. Why are you interested in contributing your technical media skills to a Christian animal-welfare nonprofit?
    9. What is your realistic weekly availability for this remote volunteer role?
    10. What software, assets, or administrative support would you need from The Animal Cause, Inc. to execute your role effectively?
