Volunteer Opportunity: Friendly Visitor & Music Companion

Setting: Adult Care Home
Are you looking for a meaningful way to make a difference in someone's life? We are seeking a compassionate female volunteer to provide companionship and social connection to an older adult who would benefit from regular visits and conversation.
Volunteer Activities May Include:
- Friendly visits and conversation
- Sharing stories and life experiences
- Listening to music together
- Talking about musical interests and favorite memories
- Providing companionship and reducing social isolation
Volunteer Qualifications:
- Female volunteer preferred
- Kind, patient, and dependable
- Comfortable interacting with older adults
- Enjoys conversation and building meaningful connections
About the Participant: This participant enjoys music and previously played the trumpet. He has expressed feelings of loneliness and would benefit from regular companionship, conversation, and social engagement.
