Content Creator

We are seeking a passionate and creative Content Creator to join our team at Take Trips MES. We are dedicated to supporting individuals reintegrate into society after incarceration and reducing recidivism rates especially among youth, particularly those from communities of color. As a Content Creator, you will play a pivotal role in raising awareness, providing valuable resources, and fostering a supportive community through engaging and informative video content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Develop compelling video content that educates, inspires, and empowers individuals navigating reentry into society.
• Community Engagement: Foster a supportive and inclusive online community through meaningful interactions, comments moderation, and responding to audience inquiries and feedback.
• Promotion and Outreach: Develop strategies to promote video content and increase reach and engagement across YouTube and other social media platforms.
• Research and Trends: Stay informed about current issues and trends to ensure content remains relevant and impactful.

Qualifications:

• Tech savy: experience with major Social media engines (Instagram, YouTube, X, BlueSky, TikTok, etc) and editing experience in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, FinalCutPro, etc.
• Trend watcher: some who can stay onto of what’s going on whether that breaking news, a holiday, a new law passed, a news article, etc
• Flexibility: someone who can adapt and adjust when a situation may arise
• Researching: people be able to research for more, accurate information to craft captivating, informative content that can be backed up or prove with primary or secondary resources.
