Want to make a positive difference in someone's life with just your smile or the holding of someone's hand? It's really that easy to brighten the lives of hospice patients! Terminally ill patients may have a limited life expectancy, but they want to feel connected to people and a part of life for as long as possible.
Freedom Hospice is looking for caring and compassionate people to visit patients in their homes and nursing facilities to provide a comforting smile, and a caring presence. Volunteers can engage patients with interesting conversation, playing of card/board games, arts & crafts, reading, etc.
Volunteers participate in an intensive on-line training program that will ensure that he/she feels confident and ready to interact with our patients. Patient assignments are tailored to match volunteer's geographic preferences and schedule.

Volunteers will rarely need to come to our office once their onboarding is complete. We need volunteers in Mid-Cities area, South Arlington, South Fort Worth, Mansfield, Waxahachie, West Fort Worth, North Fort Worth, Dallas, Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Carrollton, Duncanville.
