Help at Dog Adoption Events!

We’re looking for caring, dependable volunteers to help out at our dog adoption events!

You'll help set up, greet potential adopters, walk or supervise adoptable dogs, talk about their personalities, and make sure everyone is having a tail-wagging good time!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Handling dogs and helping them shine in public
• Answering questions and talking with potential adopters
• Assisting with event setup/breakdown
• Helping keep the dogs comfortable, safe, and loved

What We’re Looking For:

• Must love dogs!
• Comfortable around all breeds and sizes
• Friendly and reliable

Thank you for wanting to volunteer for Pooch Savers Rescue. We hold our adoption events at the Plano PetSmart, 6204 West Park Boulevard, Saturdays and Sundays from 1-5. All you need to do is just show up! PLEASE BRING A CHAIR and a LOT of positive energy. Please dress appropriately for the weather in case we set up outside. There's no form you need to submit and no minimum number of hours, just come when you can and leave when you need/want to, you do not need to alert us ahead of time that you're coming. This isn’t required, but if you happen to have anything orange and/or purple, we’d love for you to wear it since those are our rescue colors. It’s a great way to show unity and represent our mission! IF YOU'RE UNDER 15 YEARS OLD, YOU MUST HAVE A PARENT OR GUARDIAN STAY WITH YOU. We look forward to having you and we are happy to give service hours if you need/want them, thank you again! PS, we also have online volunteer opportunities, for example, sending emails and or posting our available dogs in fb groups, please let me know if you're interested in these opportunities.
