About Us
Kazoza Initiative Association is a nonprofit based in Bujumbura, Burundi, working since 2016 to bring hope and opportunities to vulnerable children and youth. Our programs include:
- School sponsorship for orphans and vulnerable children
- Holiday Programs (Vacances Utiles) for education and empowerment
- Hospital visits to support sick children
- Youth mentoring and training

Role Description
We are seeking a Volunteer Website Editor (WordPress) to help us maintain and improve our online presence. As a volunteer, you will play a key role in making our mission visible to NGOs, donors, churches, institutions, and individuals who want to support our cause.
Responsibilities
- Update and edit website content on WordPress (news, events, projects, stories)
- Ensure the website is user-friendly, engaging, and up to date
- Optimize content for visibility and clarity
- Collaborate with our team to highlight new initiatives, programs, and calls for support
- Suggest improvements for website design and functionality (optional)
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of WordPress (content editing, plugins, themes)
- Good writing/editing skills in English (French is a plus)
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Passionate about child development, education, and community empowerment
Time Commitment
- Flexible, around 2–4 hours per week (remote work possible)
