About Us

Kazoza Initiative Association is a nonprofit based in Bujumbura, Burundi, working since 2016 to bring hope and opportunities to vulnerable children and youth. Our programs include:

• School sponsorship for orphans and vulnerable children
• Holiday Programs (Vacances Utiles) for education and empowerment
• Hospital visits to support sick children
• Youth mentoring and training

We are committed to expanding our impact through partnerships and community-driven projects.

Role Description

We are seeking a Volunteer Website Editor (WordPress) to help us maintain and improve our online presence. As a volunteer, you will play a key role in making our mission visible to NGOs, donors, churches, institutions, and individuals who want to support our cause.

Responsibilities

• Update and edit website content on WordPress (news, events, projects, stories)
• Ensure the website is user-friendly, engaging, and up to date
• Optimize content for visibility and clarity
• Collaborate with our team to highlight new initiatives, programs, and calls for support
• Suggest improvements for website design and functionality (optional)

Requirements

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of WordPress (content editing, plugins, themes)
• Good writing/editing skills in English (French is a plus)
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Passionate about child development, education, and community empowerment

Time Commitment

• Flexible, around 2–4 hours per week (remote work possible)
