Program coordinator POW! Family--/& or volunteer outreach- experienced

This is a long- term position.

POW! provides free enrichment programs to children of all abilities, ages and backgrounds; we focus on inclusion.

• We are looking for a volunteer who would like to be a volunteer recruiter, coordinator and reach out regularly to our team of volunteers to schedule for the programs we offer. You would make sure that we can run the programs smoothly and have enough support at site. You follow up with volunteers on a continuing basis.
• Additionally we are looking for a volunteer who would like to be a family out-reacher, coordinator and who connects regularly with our participants. You would make sure that our community is well informed and likes to commit to regular participation. You follow up with families and collect some feedback on a continuing basis.
• These are both a combination of in-person and computer/phone opportunities.

We would love for you to meet our team in person by attending our programs. You will collect data, feedback and give some input (with our assistance) to volunteers and make sure appreciation is being spread.

This is a core position; you ensure that all needs are being covered. Commitment is 3-5 hours per week. Experience preferred. Currently we can provide very specific prime training!
