Purpose:
Support the mission of MADD by helping spread the awareness! Help make MADD programs and special events well known in the community by establishing relationship with community partners and stakeholders.
Duties:
- Help plan special events
- Connect with potential donors and volunteers
- Attend and represent MADD at expos, fairs, and other events
- Become knowledgeable about MADD programs and services
Training:
- Ongoing support is offered by staff from our southern affiliate office.
- Orientation training will be provided through videos and in person training
Qualifications:
- Age 18 and older
- Reliable Transportation
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to be courteous and comfortable with people
- Basic organizational skills
Time Commitment Required:
- Virtual training can be done on your own time. 1-2 hours
- Shadowing staff to health and safety fairs learning the ins and outs of tabling and engaging the public. 1-3 hours
- Times vary with some daytime hours, some nighttime house, some Saturday hours. You pick what works for you. Varies by event - you will not go alone until you feel ready.
Location:
- Tucson MADD office with some travel to attend health and safety fairs.
