Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)/Prince George's County is seeking volunteers to serve on its Board of Directors. By utilizing your business development, fundraising, management and finance skills and connections in the community; you will make a difference in the lives of children living in foster care due to abuse and neglect. Help further our goal to change these children's stories by providing oversight and governance and by assisting with the fundraising and organizational development of this established non-profit.
Organizational Priorities:
Celebrating our 25th anniversary, CASA is finalizing a new strategic plan that integrates our core model of matching volunteers with youth in foster care due to abuse and neglect with new ways of serving the population such as implementation of a continuum of care model to continue supporting youth after they age out of foster care. Strategic planning also addresses internal capacity needs and a dynamic fundraising plan to diversify revenue streams.
