Wambli (Eagle) Soars will be held again at the Allina Health MacMillan Center in south Minneapolis on Monday, April 27th from 5:30 pm - 8 pm.
The event in 2026 will feature a new auctioneer team, with returning emcees WCCO-TV reporter Reg Chapman and Native storyteller and educator Odia Woods-Krueger and other guest speakers. We hope to have 400 guests at the event that will feature a LIVE and silent auction, Fund-A-Need and Native themed entertainment. Catering will once again be provided by Native Harvest from Shakopee, MN.
VOLUNTEER ROLES AVAILABLE:
SEAT USHERS - Greet guests as they enter the event room and assist them to find their table, assist
in guiding tables to the buffet in an orderly fashion and provide other assistance to guests as needed.
Need 5 or more.
AUCTION SPOTTERS - Help raise energy during the Live Auction by helping the auctioneer to spot
bidders and encouraging bidders to bid high and often. This role is best suited to outgoing, lively
individuals. Need at least 6.
PARKING USHERS - Greet guests as they enter the building from the Purple Ramp and direct them to
the event center. Need at least 8.
SILENT AUCTION DISPLAY MONITOR - Monitor the silent auction items that will be on display at the
event for security. Need at least 2.
SET UP/TAKE DOWN - Assist with setting up for the event and/or cleaning up afterward. Shift hours
will vary and will be earlier/later than for the other roles. Need many.
GOPHER - assisting event staff at various immediate tasks during the event, as needed.
Volunteers can park here for free validated parking.
