Tiny Cat Animal Rescue is seeking Community Cat Coordinators to lead and manage our community cat (TNVR) program. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for community cat inquiries and work closely with the Director of Operations to balance rescue efforts with available foster and financial capacity.
What You'll Do
Intake & Triage

- Assess requests and gather key information (location, number of cats, condition, friendliness, urgency)
- Prioritize cases based on urgency and organizational capacity
TNVR Coordination
- Coordinate trapping, spay/neuter, and return efforts
- Maintain relationships with trappers, clinics, and community partners
- Schedule and oversee TNVR efforts from intake through release
Capacity Management & Diversion
- Act as a first line of defense to prevent overextension of foster resources
- Identify and coordinate alternative outcomes (e.g., TNVR without intake, placement with partner rescues, community-based solutions)
- Present vetted recommendations to the Director of Operations for final decisions on intake
Program Oversight & Tracking
- Maintain organized records of all community cat cases
- Track TNVR outcomes, including number of cats trapped, sterilized, and returned
- Identify trends and opportunities to improve efficiency and impact
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Director of Operations and foster team to align on capacity
- Support education efforts for community members on TNVR and responsible care of outdoor cats
Ideal Candidate
- Experience with TNVR, animal rescue, or community cat management preferred but not required
- Highly organized and responsive; able to manage multiple active cases
- Strong judgment and ability to assess when to escalate vs. divert
