Volunteer Opportunity – English Language Instructor (Remote)

Living Stones Foundation is seeking volunteer English instructors to support missionaries and humanitarian workers preparing to serve in regions where English proficiency is essential for their mission, international coordination, or training. This is a remote, unpaid opportunity with a flexible time commitment.

🧑‍🎓 International students with OPT or CPT visas are welcome!

This opportunity may qualify for Optional Practical Training (OPT) or Curricular Practical Training (CPT). If you are a student or recent graduate in education, languages, English, or intercultural studies looking for meaningful volunteer experience, we’d love to hear from you!

🎯 Your impact:

You will help equip individuals who are entering the mission field or working on social projects by teaching practical, functional English and supporting their language development to serve more effectively and independently in global contexts.

💡 What you’ll do:

• Teach online English classes to small groups or individuals
• Use immersive, real-world communication methods
• Adapt materials with vocabulary relevant to missionary, community, and nonprofit work
• Collaborate with other volunteers to enhance teaching resources and strategies

✅ Requirements:

• Fluency in English (native or advanced level)
• Fluency or intermediate level of Spanish
• Experience teaching or tutoring English
• Interest in service, intercultural education, and community-based work
• Basic familiarity with platforms like Zoom

✨ Preferred but not required:

• Experience in missions, international cooperation, or adult education
• Familiarity with vocabulary used in social or faith-based contexts
• Background in education, languages, TESOL, or intercultural studies
