Descrição

MISSION: The Central Elementary Community Garden is a shared space where students, families, and neighbors can connect with nature, learn hands-on gardening and conservation practices, and build community through stewardship. The partnership with Friends of Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge supports the garden as an extension of the Refuge’s mission: creating welcoming pathways to nature beyond Refuge boundaries. Together, Central Elementary and Friends are working to revitalize the garden as a place for education, biodiversity, volunteer engagement, and community connection.
