Same Day Surgery Volunteers Needed at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center

Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of patient rooms and clerical areas. This may include such tasks as spot cleaning counter tops and devices, tidying workspaces and more. Keep the appointed areas stocked with necessary supplies, such as the blanket warmer, supply drawers and gowns. Restock kitchen areas with supplies (including refrigerators.) Stock and set-up patient rooms. Help with patient discharges and/or transfers of belongings to inpatient units.

Safety:

Volunteers do not enter isolation rooms.

AAH will provide any required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Volunteers need to be at least 15 years of age and commit to at least 64 hours of volunteering during a rolling calendar year.
