Make a Difference: Volunteer as a Patient Screener at Fourth Street Clinic

Are you passionate about helping your community? Fourth Street Clinic, an integrated healthcare provider serving unsheltered and vulnerable populations in Salt Lake City, is seeking compassionate volunteers to join our team as Patient Screeners.

Our Mission

At Fourth Street Clinic, we believe healthcare is a human right. Our mission is to provide high-quality, comprehensive care to individuals experiencing homelessness, helping them regain health and hope.

What You’ll Do

As a Patient Screener, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring they feel welcomed and supported. Your role includes greeting patients, checking them in at the door, and helping maintain a safe and respectful environment.

Volunteer Details

• Age Requirement: 18+
• Commitment: Minimum of 6 months
• Schedule: At least one regular weekly shift, M-F
  • Morning: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Afternoon: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
  • (We can offer flexibility to accommodate your schedule.)

What You’ll Need

• Government-issued photo ID
• Dates of your most recent vaccinations: seasonal flu, TB, MMR, and Hep B
• Permission to conduct a background check (required to protect the vulnerable population we serve)
