In addition to basic supervision of youth and mentoring, must have the ability to maintain boundaries, de-escalate and provide safe, positive environment. Must be comfortable engaging with youth who may be wary of adults.
Descrição
StandUp for Kids Tucson is seeking compassionate volunteers to support youth at our Outreach Center. Volunteers will mentor young people, assist with services, and help create a safe, welcoming environment, especially for youth and young adults who may be hesitant to trust adults.
Must have a positive and non-judgmental attitude and ability to work with you experiencing or overcoming trauma. Patience, empathy and strong interpersonal skills necessary. Reliable and committed to scheduled hours.
