Responsibilities
We are looking for experienced volunteer photographers skilled in outdoor, indoor, and/or portrait photography. This is a great opportunity to build your portfolio while supporting the mission of Habitat for Humanity Portland Region.
Volunteer photographers are needed to shoot events, volunteers building homes, homeowners, and staff portraits. Your subjects may be families in our homeownership or home repair programs, volunteers, construction crews, donors, or Habitat staff.
Settings will be a mixture of indoor/outdoor, large/small groups, action shots, and different light settings. In your response, please share which type(s) of photography you enjoy.
This volunteer position will be working directly with the Communications Team on an on-call basis.

Length of commitment: Ongoing. We request a 3-month minimum commitment.
Estimated total hours: This is not a time-intensive position. We can work with your schedule to determine the number of events.
Schedule: The schedule varies based on event, interview, or build times, but photography editing time can be done at your home with a flexible schedule.
Location: Work on the scene at build sites, family homes, or at events.
