Grant Writing Volunteers

Volunteers need to assist with grant writing.

Core activities include:

• In collaboration with the Executive director, identify the Grant Request you will work on.
• Crafting well-written and persuasive grant proposals
• Managing grant processes including managing timelines, ensuring compliance with funders requirements, and submitting proposals on time

What we request of potential volunteers:

• Commit to volunteering 4 hours a week as you work on the assigned grant
• Managing grant processes including managing timelines, ensuring compliance with funders requirements, and submitting proposals on time

What we will provide:

• Requirement Samples: Prior applications and sample budgets and budget narratives for the staff positions, activities, or other things we'd like to fund;
• Templates of responses to common questions
• A desk and computer in the office to work from
• Access to staff and other volunteers for discussion
• Coffee, tea, water, and snacks
