The Greater Austin Regional Science and Engineering Fair (GARSEF) is the one of the largest of 15 regional science fairs in Texas, covering 55 school districts in 14 counties.
In 2025 more than 7000 people attended Science Fest as students, teachers, parents, judges or volunteers. Events included the public viewing of science projects, educational booths and scientific demonstrations, as well as the award ceremonies.
We need general volunteers to assist with registration and project set-up, monitoring students' well-being during judging sessions and the awards ceremonies.
