Descrição
Position Summary: To provide intermittent companionship and emotional support to patients and their caregivers facing life threatening illnesses and death.
- Provides respite care by staying with the patient up to 2 hours while caregiver runs errands.
- Provide companionship to patient when caregiver is home or not home or in a facility.
- Maintains strict patient/caregiver confidentiality.
- May volunteer in Palatka Care Center, facilities, or in the home.
- Volunteers must have their own transportation; may not be dropped off at patient homes.
- Must be reliable.
