Community Engagement Team Leader

The Community Engagement Team leader leads the the team that manages event participation, speaking engagements, and relationship building among key constituencies in Howard County to promote Home of Our Own and its mission within the community.

• Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, congregations, government agencies, and the local non-profit community
• Arrange and coordinate A Home of Our Own Howard, Inc.’s presence at community events, including tabling, presentations, and speaking engagements
• Promote awareness of the organization’s mission and programs to the public and community stakeholders
• Collaborate with the Fundraising Team to identify sponsorship opportunities and potential funding sources
• Track and report on community engagement activities, opportunities, and outcomes
• Respond to inquiries from media outlets, ensuring timely and accurate communication that reflects A Home of Our Own Howard, Inc.’s values and mission
• Coordinate and participate in events that showcase the organization’s mission and impact
