Role Overview
The Volunteer Guide helps ensure that new volunteers do not feel lost after signing up. Many people are willing to help but hesitate if they are unsure where they fit. This role bridges that gap.
By offering a welcoming first connection and helping volunteers navigate their early involvement, Volunteer Guides help transform interested applicants into confident and active members of the team.
Interested applicants should submit a brief message describing their interest in serving as a Volunteer Guide and any relevant experience working with volunteers, community groups, or team leadership. Please include a resume if available.
Applicants should also indicate their current level of involvement with Grounded Boots Relief and confirm their willingness to serve as a point of contact for new volunteers. Availability for occasional communication with assigned volunteers and participation in organizational activities should be noted.
Qualified applicants will be contacted for a brief conversation to ensure alignment with the role and expectations.
