Hospital Gift Shop Volunteer

As a Liberty Hospital Gift Shop Volunteer, you will help create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff by providing excellent customer service, handling sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store. This role is ideal for volunteers who enjoy customer service and want to make a positive impact in a healthcare setting. Proceeds from the gift shop are donated back to the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with purchases and inquiries
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Keep the shop tidy and organized
• Provide a compassionate and helpful presence to all visitors

Requirements:

• Friendly, approachable, and dependable
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Basic math and cash-handling ability

Qualifications:

• Must be 18+
• Background Check
• Complete required health screening
• Follow hospital policies and procedures
• Six-month minimum commitment

Shifts:

Monday-Friday 10 AM-3 PM.

*We are currently looking for substitutes, with the potential for a regular Friday shift.*

This position is a great fit for teams of two looking to volunteer together.
