About Move Me Foundation

Move Me Foundation is a volunteer-driven nonprofit focused on improving mental health and emotional well-being through community-informed, applied research. Our work focuses on systems-level change and practical outcomes that inform real-world practice and policy.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced research professional to lead and coordinate our volunteer research team. The Senior Research Lead is responsible for overseeing research execution, supervising team members, and ensuring projects progress with quality, consistency, and accountability.

This is a leadership role suited for someone comfortable managing research operations and guiding experienced contributors in a nonprofit environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day research activities
• Supervise Research Coordinators, Research Assistants, and Peer Reviewers
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and maintain timelines
• Review research outputs for quality, consistency, and rigor
• Make routine operational decisions related to research execution
• Communicate progress, risks, and needs to Research Directors
• Support a collaborative and respectful volunteer team environment

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading or coordinating applied research projects
• Experience supervising or managing research teams
• Strong understanding of research methods and study design
• Ability to work independently, organize work, and meet commitments
• Reliable availability of 8–10 hours per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in education, mental health, or social research
• Experience in nonprofit or volunteer-based environments
• Advanced degree in a relevant field
