YRES Event Support Assistant

York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a Volunteer Event Support Assistant—someone devoted to giving back to their community, making an impact, and who loves socializing.

The YRES Event Support Assistant is responsible for:

• Arriving to the event on-time and in professional attire

• Assisting artists with set-up and clean-up for installations

• Moving art installations

• Be able to lift heavy objects

• Having a professional and friendly demeanor in helping artists

• Arrive and leave the event independently

• Represent the YRES in a professional manner
