Program Manager - Professional Volunteer

Job Overview:

We are looking for a driven Program Manager to be a Professional Volunteer for our nonprofit organization. You will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, management, and growth of our Campaigns. This role requires a dynamic leader who can oversee all aspects of program operations, including staff supervision, budget management, grant writing, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will be a visionary with a proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and achieving measurable results. This role also involves public speaking and engaging with the community on social media to promote volunteer opportunities and recognize volunteer contributions. Remote with some travel as needed. Degree encouraged but not required. We operate in states around the U.S but provide direct support to communities in San Bernardino County, CA and Hillsborough County, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for recruiting, training, and retaining volunteers
• Strategize community initiatives and develop ongoing programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors and stakeholder
• Oversee social media engagement to promote volunteer events and highlight volunteer achievements
• Conduct regular evaluations of community programs to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate volunteers into various organizational initiatives
• Represent the organization at community events and engage in public speaking opportunities to advocate for the volunteer program
• Organize and lead in-field events

Qualifications:

• Execellent communication and leadership skills
• Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, funders, government agencies, and other key stakeholders.
• Understand nonprofit operations and compliance
• Financial management and budgeting
• Willingness to grow with the developing organization
