The Clinton Historical Society is currently seeking excited, dedicated people to join our team of volunteers. We offer a variety of flexible roles designed to help you build transferable skills and explore new interests.
Available opportunities include, but are not limited to:
- Digitization: Help us bring our preservation into the modern era by assessing, scanning, photographing, and organizing our archives and collections digitally.
- Archives: Neat freak? Put your skills to use organizing and labelling archival materials so that the public can better access them.
- Community Outreach: Get out into the community with us! We’re looking for friendly faces to staff outreach tables at the Clinton Farmers’ Market (June-October), Boonville/Oneida County Fair (July-August), and other community events throughout the season.
- Digital Marketing: Can’t help but scroll in your free time? You’re just who we need! Help us reach a wider audience, expand our presence on new platforms, and keep up with the latest social media trends.
- Youth Programs: Spend meaningful time with rising 4th through 7th graders at our annual History Camp in August.
Volunteers are also encouraged to propose their own projects with the support of our staff, board members, and fellow volunteers. We will happily work to accommodate your interests and schedule.
Join us today to give back to your community and help us preserve the past for the future!
