Thosps & Saak Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping victims of domestic violence, single parents, and children who have been sexually assaulted. We provide trauma-informed advocacy, resources, and support to help families rebuild and thrive.

Position Overview

Thosps & Saak Inc. is seeking an experienced Treasurer to serve on our Board of Directors. The Treasurer will oversee the organization’s financial management, ensure proper fiscal controls are in place, and help guide the organization’s financial strategy and sustainability. This is a critical leadership role for someone passionate about making a difference through responsible stewardship and community impact.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight of all financial records and transactions
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit financial regulations and reporting requirements
• Review and present monthly financial statements to the board
• Assist with budget preparation and annual financial planning
• Oversee and support bookkeeping, accounting, and audits as needed
• Monitor grant and donation funds for appropriate allocation
• Provide fiscal guidance to the Executive Director and board
• Support fundraising and financial sustainability planning

Qualifications

• Experience required in accounting, finance, or nonprofit financial management
• Familiarity with nonprofit governance and reporting standards
• Strong attention to detail and integrity in financial oversight
• Ability to interpret financial data and communicate clearly with the board
