Volunteer Opportunity – Office & Community Programs Assistant (Iquitos, Peruvian Amazon)

About Us

The Fondo de Acción Verde y Emprendimiento Responsable (FAVER) is a nonprofit organization based in Iquitos, Peru, dedicated to promoting environmental conservation, sustainable entrepreneurship, circular economy initiatives, and community development throughout the Peruvian Amazon.

We work alongside local communities, women, youth, artisans, and entrepreneurs to create opportunities through education, innovation, and sustainability.

Volunteer Role

We are looking for enthusiastic, proactive, and community-minded volunteers who would like to support our daily operations while contributing to meaningful social and environmental projects.

As an Office & Community Programs Assistant, you will help with:

• Supporting the daily operation and organization of our office.
• Welcoming visitors and assisting with reception activities.
• Helping prepare materials and logistics for workshops and training sessions.
• Assisting facilitators during community workshops as a workshop assistant.
• Supporting environmental education, recycling, and handicraft programs.
• Collaborating with our team on community events and volunteer activities.
• Performing light administrative and organizational tasks.
