Farsi-Speaking Volunteer Needed (Glenner Encinitas)

The George G. Glenner Alzheimer’s Family Centers, Inc.® is looking for a caring, reliable Farsi-speaking volunteer to support older adults living with Alzheimer’s and other form of dementias. A friendly conversation in someone’s own language can bring comfort, reassurance, and connection, and you can help make that possible.

Who We’re Hoping to Find

We’d love to meet volunteers who:

• Speak Farsi comfortably
• Are 16+ (those under 18 must volunteer with an adult)
• Can offer at least 3 hours a month for a minimum of six months

Where & When

This opportunity is based at our Encinitas center, Monday through Friday. Schedules are flexible, whether you need volunteer hours, internship experience, or simply want to give back.

How to Get Started

2. Meet with our team for an interview
3. Complete a background check
4. Provide proof of a clear TB test & COVID-19 vaccination (exemptions allowed)
5. Attend a short orientation (online and in person)
