International Bazaar Volunteer

The Rohingya Culture Center (RCC) of Chicago is convening its third annual International Bazaar!

International Bazaar is a two-day event celebrating the diverse cultures that shape the West Ridge community. Through booths, sports tournaments, inflatables, and other shared activities, this event aims to promote appreciation for the diversity that makes our community feel like home to so many. International Bazaar is open to all individuals, including those from different states and backgrounds, such as athletes, practitioners, public officials, non-profit organizations, small businesses, and home-based enterprises, among others. One of the highlights of International Bazaar is the sports tournament, where participants from across the country play soccer and takraw (chinlon) over the two days.

We are currently seeking support with volunteers for the dates of August 15th and August 16th at Warren Park (6601 North Western Ave, Chicago, IL 60645) from 10AM-6PM. We are seeking volunteers to assist with security, child care, henna/facepaint, grounds management and general info/directory. Our open volunteer shifts range from 9AM-7PM and will be in 3-5 hour increments. All volunteers will be provided with refreshment and meal stipends from our vendors.
