Little Miami Scenic Trail & Great Miami River Trail are 2 of the finest Rec Trail networks & corridors in the U.S.A. however, Rec Trail Safety is not anywhere near what it should be with ever-growing trail popularity and usage. Part of that growing usage are families with children. The difference between using home and neighborhood trails is day and night from using LMST & GMRT Rec Trails.

LMST & GMRT Safety Education Facilitators present Rec Trail Safety Best Practices (supported by a LMST & GMRT Rec trail best practices Flipbook) to elementary - middle school students. Presentations explore everyday equipment (bikes & alt-wheeled) usage with a focus on Rec Trail usage. Other topics include Rec TYrails as alternative transportation and other related topics. Participants are encouraged to share photos of the 2 trail corridors.
