Hospice Volunteer

Take on the roll of a trusted friend, hold a hand, read a book, be a listening ear...just open your heart. Companion and vigil volunteers are needed in the Meyersdale and Somerset area to provide emotional support for our hospice patients. We can work within your busy schedule. Hours are flexible and training is provided. AseraCare Hospice volunteers are very special people. They have a strong sense of compassion and empathy for patients and families going through crisis, and they are willing to commit some of their time to helping provide a supportive, caring environment for our patients.
