    About The Pablove Foundation

The Pablove Foundation is a national nonprofit dedicated to funding innovative pediatric cancer research and providing arts education programs to children living with cancer. Our signature photography program, Shutterbugs, empowers youth through creative expression, confidence-building, and community connection.

We are a small but deeply mission-driven team committed to meaningful impact.

    About This Internship

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and mission-aligned volunteer to support both our Shutterbugs photography program and broader nonprofit administrative operations.

This volunteer role is ideal for students or early-career professionals interested in:

    • Nonprofit management
    • Youth program operations
    • Grant research and fundraising strategy
    • Data systems and administrative operations
    • Social impact leadership

You will gain hands-on experience inside the inner workings of a national nonprofit organization and directly contribute to programs serving children and families.

This is not a “coffee and copies” role, you will be trusted with meaningful responsibilities that support real program delivery.

    Key Responsibilities

    Shutterbugs Program Support

    • Assist with student and parent communications
    • Track applications and enrollment status
    • Support coordination of parent and volunteer orientations
    • Help manage photography kit inventory and shipping logistics
    • Maintain organized program documentation
    • Assist with volunteer teaching artist onboarding tasks

    Grant & Research Support

    • Conduct research on potential grant opportunities
    • Assist with grant tracking and data entry
    • Help consolidate and maintain funder databases
    • Support deadline tracking and reporting preparation

    Administrative & Data Entry Support

    • Maintain organized digital filing systems
    • Assist with database updates
    • Conduct light research for strategic initiatives
    • Support campaign and event tracking tasks as needed

    What You’ll Gain

    • Direct mentorship from nonprofit leadership
    • Exposure to grant strategy and program operations
    • Experience working cross-functionally on youth initiatives
    • Real responsibility and ownership of meaningful projects
    • Resume-building experience in nonprofit administration
    • Insight into fundraising, event logistics, and compliance work

This role is designed to provide hands-on educational experience in nonprofit program operations and grant strategy.

    Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

    • Extremely detail-oriented
    • Organized and systems-minded
    • Strong written communicator
    • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
    • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
    • Interested in nonprofit or mission-driven work
    • Comfortable with research and data entry tasks

    Bonus (but not required):

    • Experience with Asana or project management tools
    • Interest in photography, arts education, or youth leadership

    Time Commitment

    Part-Time | 10–15 hours per week

We are seeking someone who can commit at least 6 months, as continuity is important for our youth programming and operational initiatives. There is opportunity to extend beyond that based on mutual interest and availability.

    Compensation

This is a volunteer role designed to provide hands-on educational experience in nonprofit operations.

Applicants seeking academic credit are encouraged to consult with their institution regarding eligibility requirements. We are happy to complete required documentation where applicable.

    Please submit:
